W4: The 2015 Healthcare Issue

The mission of the Health & Wellness Committee, chaired by Vicki Bosler (Pine Run Community) and outgoing chair Dr. Gail Walker (Walker Wellness Chiropractic), is to assist Chamber Members in creating and maintaining a culture of physical and mental health that benefits their business and their employees.

This year the committee plans to “take its show on the road” and visit businesses helping to enhance the wellness awareness and knowledge of their employees creating a healthier more vibrant business community – and community at large.

Additionally, the group is planning to show, for free to members and the community, a movie – Escape Fire, an eye-opening documentary, that inspires viewers to take control and become part of the healthcare solution – Participants learn to take manageable steps to reverse the currently upside down system of care. The program is scheduled for May 6, 9 to 11 a.m. and is free to attend.

Active community members are: Vicki Bosler (Pine Run Community), Dr. Gail Walker (Walker Wellness Chiropractic), Babette Benham (Livengrin Foundation Inc.), Jim Bishop (Cornerstone Clubs), Brent Hartman (Body By Brent, LLC), Rachel Hutchinson (Family Heritage Life), Ray Keough (USI Affinity Insurance), Daiva Klimiene (Radiance Spa), Bob Kondraske (ArcPoint Labs), Robert Mitchell (Corr Mitchell LLC), Stuart Segal (Novotorium), Bill Schoffler (United Way Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc.), Joseph Vernachio (PSI Personnell LLC), Lisa S.
