Today I witnessed another Pine Run Proud moment as I walked through the Community Center. The hallway was lined with tables laden with meals for people in need in the Doylestown area. This collaborative effort was captured by Channel 6 Action News as the bags were loaded and ready for delivery.”

Dave Fogel, senior director of dining services, carefully handles the tasty meals.Employees of Doylestown Hospital, Pine Run Community, Health Quality Partners and the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown prepared, packaged, and distributed 287 holiday meals – roast beef and all the fixings – to families in need this holiday season.

Dave Fogel and Louise Forliano, of Perkasie, load cooked holiday meals into bags.Meals were delivered to 100 Grundy Hall residents as well as families identified by the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic and case managers/social workers from Doylestown Hospital and Health Quality Partners. The cost of the dinners is underwritten by the VIA, which founded and governs Doylestown Health.
