Pine Run Retirement Community is proud to be part of the Doylestown Health system, which has delivered high-quality medical care to the Central Bucks County community for more than 90 years. At the heart of that care system is Doylestown Hospital, which remains today a nonprofit hospital governed by the same organization that founded it, the Village Improvement Association (VIA) of Doylestown.
Since 1895, the VIA has focused on developing public health initiatives that make the community stronger and healthier. This dynamic and highly regarded women’s organization is the only one in the nation to own and oversee the operation of a community hospital.
As part of Doylestown Health, Pine Run Retirement Community offers residents the ease and convenience of health care services delivered within one dedicated system. The Pine Run Health Center is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, therapeutic recreation staff and dietitians, all under one roof. And if it is necessary to visit health care providers at Doylestown Hospital or another location within the health system, practical assistance with appointments and transportation is readily available through the Pine Run Health Center Concierge.
