As Pine Run Prepares for the Fall 2019 Grand Opening of its New HUB, Voters from Bucks County Precinct 2 Return
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (May 16, 2019) – On Tuesday, May 21 citizens of Bucks County Precinct 2 will return to the polls at Pine Run Retirement Community on Ferry Road in Doylestown Township, Pa. The doors to the new Community Center, affectionately known as The Hub, will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. Voters will be guided through the light-filled lobby and attractive galleries to cast their ballots in the voting area. Pine Run’s facilities have not been available for elections since breaking ground on The Hub in April 2017.
The Hub is the new centerpiece of Pine Run Retirement Community which is home to independent living cottages and apartments, a Health Center which offers a variety of nursing, post-operative care, rehabilitation services, physical therapy and occupational therapy services, and other senior long-term care facilities. The Hub will include expansive aquatic and fitness facilities run by trained professionals.
Pine Run has invested more than $37 million in renovations which include the addition of the 36-thousand-square-foot Hub made up of a new auditorium, two dining venues, a fitness center and pool to promote healthy living, upgrades to the entire Five-Star Health Center, new cottage designs, and scenic courtyards.
