Life Enrichment and Activities

Life Enrichment and Activities are an important part of each resident’s day. The Garden’s dedicated Life Enrichment Team seeks to recognize, celebrate, and preserve the important and meaningful aspects of each individual. We do this through offering group activities as well as one-on one time with caregivers. Activities include art, discussion groups, games, entertainment, music, enjoying photo albums, gardening, pet therapy, and more.

The Garden’s highly individualized program is created from more than medical history and pharmacy records. Our expert caregivers talk to  each resident’s family members and friends to make note of the resident’s personal preferences and routines. All the information goes into a care plan designed to help support and maintain meaningful aspects of a resident’s lifestyle. Physicians, family and staff interact, completing an effective circle of communication.
