The Garden
Memory care at Pine Run Retirement Community is open to individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Our memory care programs are designed to encourage residents to be as independent as possible and to remain engaged in the life of the community while ensuring every resident’s safety.
The Garden’s memory care program offers a wide range of activities every day to help keep the mind active and engaged. We also have specialized programs in place to help ease common symptoms such as “sundowners syndrome,” the confusion and agitation that can set in in the late afternoon and early evening. Expert caregivers implement Sunset Watch, engaging with residents during time periods that can be problematic for those with dementia, particularly late at night and early in the morning.
The full spectrum of health care services offered at Pine Run Retirement Community makes it easy to accommodate changing medical needs, which can help keep disruption to a minimum, an important consideration for those suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Pine Run Retirement Community’s memory care program offers residents and families 24-hour visitation, high staff-to-resident ratios that ensure personalized attention, and 24-hour, EMT-trained security personnel.
